Located in the heart of Southlands, Talsiman Farms remains a family concern, firmly established  and committed to the local  community - the Emricks and MacPhees-Pippa, her husband Chris and her parents; their land drover and Sabrina, (Pippa's first horse, a 26 year old thoroughbred who is still going strong), are well known in the neighbourhood.

Pippa' s intention is to share her insight, equine experience, and opportunities with her students. The motivation at Talisman Farm,  is  the wellbeing of their students and horses. They are encouraged to have fun in every possible situation, so that they may become, strong, confident, independent individuals  creating wonderful, long lasting memories and friendships through horses, the equine community at Southlands and last but not least, the ability to ride."
